Paul IngholtMay 13, 2020
Managing Director, National Security
The now-former PricewaterhouseCoopers U.S. public sector business now has a new name Guidehouse, after its acquisition by Veritas Capital.
McLean, Virginia-based Guidehouse joined the Veritas portfolio in May 2017 and has almost 1,500 partners and staff that provide consulting services to federal agencies in technology, management, and strategy.
The company is well respected in the Federal Contracting business. Guidehouse is no longer encumbered being part of a large accounting firm and is free to determine its own destiny.
Paul will be responsible for helping grow and expand the National Security Practice at the firm.
Prior to joining Guidehouse, Paul was International Account, Senior Vice President at Booz Allen Hamilton. There he was a key member of the team leading firm’s reentry into the Middle East market. Paul helped double revenue and tripled the pipeline over a three year period. He was instrumental in building Booz Allen brand as the go to for defense, security, and cyber-related transformations. Paul led key security and diplomatic transformation contracts for foreign clients, totaling $45 million through globally-dispersed teams. His team designed and implemented risk management processes in compliance with U.S. export control requirements. Paul was with Booz for eighteen years and prior to that was in government.
Mr. Scott, who led this search, had the following to say:
“Paul is what we consider an impact hire for our client, Guidehouse. I know Paul was pursued by several other tier one consulting firms here in the public sector. I believe he choose to join Guidehouse based on their independence and financial backing of Veritas. He was also very impressed by the leadership team and culture they have preserved thru this transition.”
