csra logoWashington, D.C. - ESGI is proud to announce the hiring of Trey Lackey into the CSRA National Security Business Group. Trey will have strategic responsibilities working with senior leadership on global security issues.

Having spent the past 25 years in the Intelligence Community, Trey earned an impeccable reputation within the law enforcement community working on critical programs that serve to protect our country. He has led large-scale technical and HUMAN Intelligence (HUMINT) programs through focus on strategic planning, team building, instilling innovative practices and the establishment of strong interagency partnerships.

He has served our country in austere war zones in the Middle East and South Asia, co-located with the U.S. Military. Trey has extensive experience working with every aspect of the U.S. Intelligence Community to include the FBI, NSA, NRO, DHS, DoD and state/local law enforcement.  He is a frequent key note speaker on these critical matters and is considered a though leader on subjects such as cyber and cloud security.

According to ESGI’s Evan Scott, who led this search: “Trey is an authority on all the security threats that face our country. He has dedicated his career working to protect us from all threats with a strong focus on cyber and cloud security. Working with Trey was an honor and assisting him with his transition to the private sector is our way of giving back in a small way for his service to the nation. While executives like Trey do not get the public recognition they deserve, he represents the dedicated men and women who have been protecting our country behind the scenes since 9/11.”
